Curriculum
The B.Sc. (MLT) course curriculum is structured to provide in-depth learning in areas such as:

Students undergo rigorous academic training along with hands-on experience through clinical postings in various hospital departments such as Microbiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Blood Bank and Sample collection.They may work as Lab Technicians, phlebotomist's quality control Incharges, and can also pursue higher education such as M.Sc. Microbiology M.Sc. Biochemistry, M.Sc. Embryology, Hospital Administration, or other allied health specializations.
Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

10+2 (Science Stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Or Intermediate in Bi. P. C. Stream or Vocational MLT in intermediate with Bridge course and fall within the age bracket of 17-35 years.

Focus on Diagnostic Lab Skills
A key component of the B.Sc. (MLT) program is the development of diagnostic laboratory skills, which empower students to
  • Collect and handle patient samples (blood, urine, sputum, etc.)
  • Understand and assist in the interpretation of lab test results
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and laboratory instruments
  • Monitor and support diagnostic procedures such as Fully automated analyzers
  • Collaborate with medical laboratory technologists to ensure accurate diagnostic data
  • Apply clinical reasoning based on lab findings to support physicians in decision-making
By integrating diagnostic lab training into the core curriculum, students gain essential competencies required for effective patient assessment and clinical decision support, making them indispensable members of the healthcare team.
