Aditya Educational Society was founded with the distinct vision of transforming the healthcare landscape in the Srikakulam district, a region that once suffered from a stark lack of basic medical infrastructure—including the complete absence of an Intensive Care Unit. The dire circumstances often compelled residents to travel long distances to Visakhapatnam for medical emergencies. Recognizing this urgent need, the Society took a bold and pioneering step by establishing the Great Eastern Medical School & Hospital (GEMS&H) with the aim of providing accessible, sustainable, and high-quality healthcare to the local population.
Established on 14th May 2000, Aditya Educational Society is a registered body (Reg. No. 4231 of 2000) formed with a core mission to promote medical education and healthcare delivery in underserved areas. Its flagship institution, GEMS&H, located in Ragolu Village, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh, was granted approval by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in
